Our client in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is seeking a Sr. Industrial Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Industrial Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving operations excellence across our distribution centers. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven leadership experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Industrial Engineer
Location: Dekalb, IL
Salary: $122-$149k total comp

What's the Job?

• Lead and model network optimization scenarios to improve cost efficiency and throughput.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced automation solutions within distribution centers.
• Drive the development and deployment of a comprehensive labor management program.
• Identify, analyze, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across distribution centers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial/manufacturing engineering, operations research, finance, mathematics, or statistics.
• 5 years of experience in network optimization within a distribution or logistics environment.
• 5 years of experience with Supply Chain Network Optimization tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Lean Six Sigma, SQL, and project management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative engineering solutions.
