Job Overview Job Description The Target Salary Range for this position is $61,290-$63,000. Proctors play a vital role in the Senate Page Program, responsible for the residence life of young Senate Pages. They ensure Webster Hall, the Page Residence, remains safe, structured, and enriching. Responsibilities include supervising pages, enforcing conduct guidelines, responding to misconduct, planning activities, coordinating meals, acting in loco parentis during medical appointments, and handling emergencies. Administrative duties include answering calls and emails, overseeing the facility, and supporting office tasks. The role is live-in, with assigned shifts and on-call duties. Key Responsibilities Administrative tasks: updating templates, answering communications, managing facility requests, participating in meetings, and ordering supplies. Supporting in loco parentis duties: tracking page whereabouts, providing guidance, emotional support, conflict resolution, and assisting with medical needs. Enforcing program policies, conducting room inspections, and managing disciplinary actions. Coordinating meal logistics and planning activities and field trips for enrichment. Other duties as assigned. Job Specifications Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree Work Experience: 1-3 years working with student populations or in residence halls Skills/Knowledge: Emergency Response training, Mandatory Reporting, CPR Certification Note: Skills assessments may be conducted during hiring. Desired Qualifications Strong residence life experience, ability to work independently and collaboratively, responsible, proactive, and model appropriate behavior for pages. Must maintain effective communication with team and partners. Working Conditions Onsite presence required during Senate sessions, including government shutdowns, inclement weather, holidays, nights, and weekends. Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs, moderate activity, potential biohazard exposure.
