My client is hiring for a Director of Sales!! The DOS will have a deep understanding of the Hotel/Hospitality business. This position is responsible for making significant contributions to excellence in guest satisfaction and loyalty, team member satisfaction and commitment, overall operations, and financial performance. They are seeking an individual who understands the Bay Area market, has extensive sales experience, and can manage a team to generate & maximize revenue. Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, control, implement, and maintain strategies/action plans to generate and maximize overall revenues through sales, and some Marketing.
• Stimulate productivity of all sales staff through guidance, development, and support.
• Oversee and manage a sales team, develop and follow through on quarterly goals/targets.
• Prepare operational and financial sales department reports
• Oversee the management, learning, and career development of the sales team
• Review contracts to ensure accuracy.
• Work with the yield team to set rates monthly, weekly, and daily.
• Identify need periods and create action plans to fill these areas.
• Develop, maintain, and implement the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Effectively control and minimize all sales and marketing expenses while exceeding overall budgeted revenues and occupancy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years' of sales leadership experience
• 5+ years' of experience in sales
• Strong leadership skills
