Job Description

The Employee Health Nurse will be responsible for the promotion and performance of various employee health care services to prevent or minimize loss of work time and health care costs. Develops, implements and evaluates an effective employee wellness program. Develops, implements and evaluates an effective infection control program.

• Teach preventative health care measurers and promote employee use of health office.
• Assess employee's condition, perform or provide treatment according to employee health care policies.
• Establish and maintain employee health records and review with employees on a timely basis.
• Manage New York State disability benefits and paperwork for eligible employees.
• Manage Worker's Compensation claims for injured employees
• Manage Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)/PFL process, paperwork and renewals for eligible employees.
• Attend and participate in a variety of meetings, including Worker's Comp accountability meetings
• Set up and maintain a return to work program including light duty assignments.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with a minimum of three (3) years acute care experience. Managerial experience preferred. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Computer experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $79,500.00 per year; Exempt

$5,000 sign on bonus

Expected hours: 37.5 per week AUBURN COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
