About the Role R3 Wound Care Nurses are
multi-skilled, cross-trained professionals who play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality care across three key functions in our Advanced Healing Centers:
- Wound Care Nursing Support
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Delivery
- Patient Care Coordination
This is an ideal opportunity for a
Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about helping patients heal.
Hourly pay range: $20.00 – $28.00 , based on experience and licensure
What You’ll Do Wound Care Nursing Support - Assist providers with wound care procedures and patient assessments
- Obtain and document chief complaint, vital signs, and comprehensive patient histories
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR
- Track and manage medical and office supply inventory
- Prepare exam rooms and assist with clinical orders
- Follow emergency protocols and ensure readiness for urgent situations
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)- Administer daily HBOT sessions under provider supervision
- Perform pre- and post-treatment vitals and blood glucose checks
- Maintain and troubleshoot hyperbaric chambers to ensure safety and functionality
- Document treatment sessions and outcomes accurately
- Adhere to all safety codes and protocols
Patient Care Coordination - Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
- Schedule appointments and process referrals
- Verify insurance benefits and secure prior authorizations
- Maintain complete and accurate patient registration records
- Provide “white glove” service to patients and referring providers
- Make outbound calls for appointment scheduling and coordination
Qualifications - Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required
- MA certification preferred; willingness to obtain promptly is required
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) preferred and highly valued
- Experience in wound care or hyperbaric medicine is a strong plus
- BLS certification preferred; required within 45 days of hire
- Excellent multitasking, communication, and customer service skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong commitment to patient care
- Valid Texas driver’s license
