HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in New York, New York.
Job Title: Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse Location: New York, NY Shift: Night Shift 3x12 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, EOW Payment Breakdown: $20/ hr. on W2 ($720 weekly) + $68/hr. as Stipend ($2,448 weekly max stipend) Responsibilities: • Provide safe and evidence-based care to pediatric ICU patients using the Relationship Centered Care model • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care • Educate patients and families on care plans and transitions • Perform thorough patient assessments and manage acute changes in patient condition • Prioritize care, including teaching, coaching, and discharge planning • Manage clinical interventions including venipuncture, catheterization, CPR, and ventilator support • Document care in the electronic medical record system and support performance improvement initiatives • Conduct Purposeful Hourly Rounding and contribute to positive patient experience Requirements: • BSN required • Current NYS RN License • Minimum 2 years pediatric ICU or critical care experience in a hospital setting • BLS and PALS (AHA) required • Proficiency with EMR and clinical documentation • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
