Job Description

Who We Are:  A3 Merchandise is a slightly irreverent but thoroughly professional creative agency with in-house creative direction & design, screen printing, international sourcing, eCommerce marketing, and fulfillment. Our team works with our partners and clients in every facet of their merchandise lives.

Position Overview:  As an important part of the A3 Tour & Events vending team, this role is responsible for the planning, organizing, and management of all aspects of a defined roster of touring artists and brands while cross-training to develop skills and knowledge to manage non-touring brands and events.

Job Duties & Functions:

 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with touring, event partners, and related stakeholders.
  • Responsible for accurate sales reporting and cash handling for all tours and events, including final accounting reports.
  • Work with the Tour and Events team and other functional teams (account managers, accounting, creative, senior managers, operations, independent contractors, etc.) to plan and execute responsible tours and events.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and work with independent contractors for each live event.
  • Inventory management - Tracking inventory of various tours and events and proactively coordinating with account managers for ordering and inventory needs.
  • Cross-train with the events department and provide support (including travel) for various events.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain wireless and POS systems.
  • Work with the touring department to continually look at POS technologies and solutions for our events and tours.
  • Coordinating travel, lodging, and expenses for A3 employees and independent contractors as needed for responsible tours or events.
  • Send expense reports, invoices, and bills to the accounting department regularly.
  • Problem solve on the fly, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a hunger to learn every day!
  • Other duties as needed and required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including experience coordinating multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment with effective resolution of conflicting priorities.
  • Proven professional interpersonal skills; experience in a position that required written and oral communication with senior management members is a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including Windows-based applications, ability to learn new software packages as necessary, including NetSuite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of all units of numbers, their operations, and interrelationships.
  • Ability to learn new duties and adjust to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time.
  • Ability to suggest and implement new systems for increased efficiency and accuracy of the department.

Work Environment and Time Requirements

 

  • Indoor office and warehouse environment; some noise and variation in temperature may characterize the work environment, including exposure to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer.
  • 8-hour workday; variations in work volume sometimes require extended working hours.
  • Ability to lift and/or lower 50 pounds to a height of 5 feet.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4-5 hours at a time).
