DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop a mapping framework for our autonomous vehicle platform. You will be responsible for integrating vehicle sensor data to create a robust solution that is also capable of identifying and correcting map errors derived from fleet data.

SKILLS:

Ability to read and understand academic papers and can turn them into production code Expert coding skills in C/C++ on Linux / Unix At least 3 years of prior experience in the field of robotics, automotive engineering, or a related field Deep understanding of automotive or robotic sensor technologies, calibration, interfaces, and data formats Prior experience with mapping techniques nonlinear optimization, and probabilistic filtering Experience with embedded systems design, low-level hardware interactions Familiar with ROS Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Masters preferred
