Job Description
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist. The Prior Authorization Pharmacist would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be a full-time position, 40+ hours per week.
Prior Authorization Pharmacist Compensation
• The pay for this position is $53.00 hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Prior Authorization Pharmacist Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment from with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs. The target start date is 3/31/2025
• The required availability for this position is Monday - Friday 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM local time zone .
• Training will be held Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CT for 4 weeks.
Prior Authorization Pharmacist Responsibilities
• Review and complete criteria based on prior authorization in line with policy and procedure.
• Ensure compliance with Teleworker Privacy Practices to maintain confidentiality and security.
• Secure work area, ensuring that CVS Health property and information are protected from unauthorized access.
• Provide high-speed internet and smartphone for work purposes.
• Ensure that workstations are locked or computers are shut down when not in use.
• Work in a private, stable environment, dedicated to CVS Health business during working hours.
Prior Authorization Pharmacist Requirements
• Active Pharmacy License in the state of residence required.
• • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills required.
• Previous pharmacy experience in PBM or Prior Authorization
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.
Prior Authorization Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality and privacy.
