Job Description

Marble Partners is seeking a Real Estate Analyst (“The Analyst”) to be based in Los Angeles, CA. This is a unique opportunity to work with the Managing Principal on all facets of multifamily investing. The Analyst will assist the Marble team in sourcing and executing investments with multifamily operators. Additional responsibilities include analyzing and facilitating the acquisition, ongoing asset management, and disposition of multifamily real estate investments. This will include but is not limited to:

  • Underwriting all new investment opportunities and presenting these opportunities to Marble’s Management Team
  • Screening deals through the brokerage and owner network
  • Performing rent and sale comp surveys using Costar
  • Assisting in managing the process for acquisitions and dispositions
  • Communicating with and assisting sponsors with negotiating JV equity, Loan, and Purchase agreements
  • Coordinating with accounting, legal, and/or other related personnel on all applicable matters
  • Reviewing monthly property financials to review and assess performance
  • Tracking and recording capital expenditures in an accurate and timely manner
  • Submitting and processing draw requests as needed (ie lender required repairs, reserve replacements, etc )
  • Ongoing investor relations duties such as quarterly reporting, periodic distributions, and answering investor inquiries
  • Ongoing communication with onsite & regional managers regarding property performance
  • Performing ad-hoc analyses (ie waterfalls, reforecasting, etc)
  • Performing various administrative functions as needed by Marble’s Management Team

Position Requirements:

  • Self-starter a must. The position is fast paced and requires an entrepreneurial spirit
  • College degree from an accredited 4-year university
  • A degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Business is desired but not required
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate
  • Multifamily experience is not required but is a plus
