About the Role:

Tennessee Oncology is recruiting a partner-track BE/BC Radiation Oncologist for our Murfreesboro market due to the expansion of our physician-owned centers and an upcoming retirement. Tennessee Oncology is the largest provider of Oncology Services in Tennessee, and the Radiation Oncology division services both hospital-based and freestanding sites with a mix of professional service agreements and technical ownership. Murfreesboro, located around 35 miles southeast of Nashville, is the largest suburb of Nashville and the fastest-growing city in Tennessee with a population of 165K.

Partner track Physicians undergo a 3-year employment period with a graduated salary increase and benefits, and are considered for partnership at the end of their employment period by vote of the membership. There is no buy-in for maturation to partnership and no tiered partnership.

While all jobs in our practice are primarily clinical, the size and scale of our practice provide opportunities for non-clinical work including research, business development, and exposure to Nashville’s oncology startup environment. With almost 30 Radiation Oncologists and 80 Medical Oncologists, the breadth of services offered by Tennessee Oncology is unique in the private practice space – offering standard of care therapies, clinical trials, and access to technology such as Protons, Cellular Therapy, and Radioligand Therapy. The ideal candidate for this position would be clinically focused – a practice builder - with a steadfast commitment to the three As of medical practice.
