Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Macomb, MI

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Compensation: $35–$40 per hour (based on experience)

Reports to: Plant Manager

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead preventative and corrective maintenance efforts for facility and production equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prioritize and manage maintenance requests while meeting response time goals.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate outsourced maintenance services.
  • Take ownership of purchasing maintenance-related equipment and supplies to support facility needs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems, VFDs/Inverters, transformers, and magnetic contactors.
  • Work with milling and lathe equipment (experience is a plus).
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and interpret facility electrical and mechanical layouts to optimize efficiency.
  • Contribute to a positive, safety-focused team environment while ensuring quality standards are met.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Five or more years of experience in facility or manufacturing maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience leading a maintenance department.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and facility layouts for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Well-developed project planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • An associate’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience with IQMS (DelmiaWorks) or other ERP/MES software experience preferred.
