**Job Title: Corrections LVN • Nights**

Join our client's team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for night shifts in a correctional setting in Texas. This 13•week assignment offers a unique opportunity to provide care in a dynamic and challenging environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Deliver nursing care to individuals in a correctional facility.
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adapt to a fast•paced environment and handle diverse patient needs.
• Float between units as needed, within a 50•mile radius.

**Schedule:**

• Night shifts from 16:45 to 05:15.
• 36 hours per week with potential for overtime based on performance.
• Block scheduling every 4 weeks.

**Qualifications:**

• Active LVN license in Texas or compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• IV Therapy certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years LVN experience, with at least 1 year in acute care or med•surg.
• Experience in LTAC, ER, skilled nursing, or psych is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a correctional setting.

**Additional Requirements:**

• COVID•19 vaccination required, with exemptions accepted.
• Must be adaptable, thick•skinned, and able to thrive in a fast•paced environment.
