Job Description

Planet Interactive is looking for a Localization Project Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 6-month contract. This role will work 40 hours per week and will require this person to be fully onsite in their Austin, TX office.

Localization Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Assist in localization efforts & coordinate localization QA
• Work with vendor testers locally and internationally
• Interacting with multiple internal team members
• Create QA plans, support QA efforts in the localization lab, fix bugs
• Help to deliver high quality localized products on time in up to 40 languages simultaneously
• Recognize and raise issues and communicate status effectively to their management
• Identify and prioritize key deliverables and call out blockers, as soon as they arise, to the multi-functional partners

Localization Project Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in localization or QA
• Solid understanding of Localization Workflows, Software Development, and Software QA.
• Experience working with content management databases and localization tools.
• Proven record of localization project management, testing and bug tracking.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently in a global team environment.
• Experience with planning, managing, and delivering multiple projects within very tight timeframes.
• Ability to be flexible, highly organized, and respond quickly and enthusiastically to often rapidly changing direction.
• Ability to be inventive, able to handle complex situations and deadlines, have very good analytical skills, and strong aim to learn and succeed.
