Kava Culture, Kava Bar is looking for experienced Bar/Cafe Managers to join our growing tribe all over Florida!

We are a fast-growing company, with limitless job advancement opportunities available as we continue to grow. This position has a guaranteed annual base salary of $38,000 with a bonus earning potential of $21,800, total compensation of $59,800. Bonuses are available to be earned monthly 12 months out of the year, quarterly and an annual bonus kicker! If you a high achiever who thrives from earning potentials, this is the role for you!

Staff Management & Store Operations
  • Uphold training standards and company policies including all food control and safety regulations
  • Proactively monitor sales analytics & coach store team members with sales training
  • Inventory audits, ordering and maintaining bar supplies
  • Cash management (cash drawer, petty cash, bank deposits)
  • Create employee schedules based on expected customer numbers
  • Implement, uphold, and quickly embrace new processes
  • Proven ability to coach and train new employees, as well as continually focusing on knowledge development with entire team
  • New store opening experience HIGHLY desired

Community Connection & Events
  • Establish and diversify grassroots events incorporating music, art, crafts, entertainment, festivals, markets, meetups, gatherings, etc.
  • Connect/network with the local community to generate positive bar ethos and environment
  • Advertise the daily, weekly, and monthly promotions of the bar via social media

Leadership
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-focused bar, while maintaining an inviting, clean, and comfortable environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service/experience skills
  • Establishing and maintaining a positive, welcoming VIBE at your store with particular attention toward music, lighting, and encouraging customer interaction
  • Possess a positive attitude and ethics to support our core values and culture

Organizational
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to connect effectively with customers, employees, executive leadership, event vendors, and hosts
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources
  • Polished eye for detail and extreme attention to cleanliness and organization
  • Strong time-management skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in food and hospitality management required; kava knowledge a plus, but willing to train the right individual.
  • Must have dependable transportation.
  • Must have ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
  • Must be highly motivated, proactive & self-directed.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable and Punctual
  • Must have experience leading a medium sized team. Knowledge in Servant Leadership HIGHLY desired.
  • Serve Safe certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment
