Hydraulics International, Inc (HII) we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Data and Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the finance and analytics functions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help drive strategic business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow their skills in data analysis, financial modeling, and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and dashboards for internal stakeholders
• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to support budgeting, planning, and strategic initiatives
• Collect and clean large data sets from various sources for reporting and analysis
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes with data validation and reconciliation
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, databases, and visualizations to communicate insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, marketing) to gather business requirements and provide analytical support
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
• Contribute to ad-hoc data projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI
• Solid understanding of basic financial principles and data analysis techniques
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
