Job Summary:

Luxury apartment building located in North Bergen, New Jersey is looking to fill full-time Doorperson/Porter position. This role will be responsible for building maintenance and front-line response and desk requests. Prior experience using BuildingLink is required. 

Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

• Interact with residents and guests in a professional and pleasant manner
• Remove trash/recyclables and prepare units for occupancy
• Sweep floors and vacuum
• Professionally answer calls, take messages
• Receives all mail and packages and ensures proper distribution
• Liaise with building management and staff to respond to emergencies
• Monitors scheduled move-in/move-out processes

Basic Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming calls and in-person requests.
• Comply with company policies, practices and procedures.
• Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner.
• Communicate written and oral communication at the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
• Perform quality and quantity duties as expected for position.
• Complete company required training courses as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3 years residential building experience preferred
• Experience using BuildingLink
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
• Extreme attention to detail and follow up tasks
• Ability to multi-task and be a team player
• Proactive, outgoing, energetic, efficient
• Strong writing skills and pleasant telephone demeanor
