The Role We’re looking for a  Director of Video Production to lead our production department. This is someone with a sharp creative eye, strong leadership skills, and a deep passion for video production. The role is both hands-on and strategic, requiring expertise in Adobe Premiere, strong time management, and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once. As an integral part of our team, you’ll oversee all aspects of video production, from pre-production planning to post-production execution, ensuring every project meets the highest creative and technical standards. What You’ll Do Lead the production team, managing schedules, workflows, and project execution Oversee and execute video post-production, including editing, motion graphics, and final delivery Direct shoots on-location and in-studio, collaborating with agency leadership and clients Maintain high creative standards, ensuring all content aligns with strategic goals Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering top-quality work Balance hands-on production work with effective delegation to team members and freelancers Work flexible hours as needed, including early mornings, late nights, or weekends for shoots What We’re Looking For ~5+ years of experience in video production and post-production ~ Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite ~ Strong leadership and time management skills, able to guide a team and keep projects on track ~ Creative thinker with a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and composition ~ Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of managing complex projects independently ~ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, solution-focused environment ~ Must be based in Birmingham, AL and work in-office daily Why Join 81 Shop?
