What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Dental Assistant at HCC, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental services. Your day may include:
Instrument Preparation & Sterilization: Disinfecting instruments and preparing trays to ensure a sterile and organized environment for procedures.
Patient Care & Records Management: Prepare patients for dental work, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all treatment information.
Laboratory Responsibilities: Take the lead on initial dental lab needs, including pouring and trimming models and creating custom trays.
Advanced Imaging & Diagnostics: Take intraoral and panoramic x-rays, as well as assist in diagnostic procedures to provide optimal care.
Job Qualifications and Special Skills include:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Dental Assistant training is required.
State certified dental x-rays preferred; willing to train.
Professional and accurate written and oral communication skills.
Ability to operate hardware and software.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity.
Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
