Job Description

Point Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI with adjudicated Polygraph clearance to support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience administering Windows environments, managing Active Directory, maintaining virtualized infrastructures, and ensuring overall system security and performance.

This role demands a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic, high-security environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system security administration functions and maintain compliance with security policies.
• Manage customer accounts and permissions through Active Directory .
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
• Plan, test, install, and integrate new and upgraded versions of operating systems, third-party software, and subsystems.
• Monitor and manage system resources to maximize efficiency, availability, and performance.
• Install and maintain custom software and tools supporting mission operations.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server operating systems.
• Support and manage virtualized environments using VMware .
• Manage and maintain enterprise storage solutions.
• Support configuration and monitoring tools to ensure system health.
• Work with cross domain solutions in secure environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with adjudicated Polygraph .
• Possess one of the following customer-approved security certifications : Security+ , SSCP , CISSP , or CASP .
• Proven experience administering Windows Active Directory environments.
• Strong background in Windows Server administration and support.
• Experience with system monitoring and configuration management tools.
• Hands-on experience with VMware technologies.
• Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions and cross domain solutions .
• Ability to plan, integrate, and upgrade new system components with minimal downtime.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Red Hat Linux environments (basic administration skills).
• Experience supporting classified and secure IT environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document processes and procedures.
